Pieced Top 2003
This top started as an experiment to see how far I could push the hand stitching together and manipulation of different fabrics. It is made from petersham, ostrich leather, age stained silk, antique obi silk, old purse lining and new silk, stitched in part with human hair, partially starched and painted.
