Recycled obi silk, vintage and new silk. Entirely hand sewn. This piece was an exercise in colour composition with the stitching playing an important aesthetic role in the work also. It is almost the closest I have come to making a 'painting' out of fabric on the body. It was the precursor to the Knotted Frontpieces that were exhibited in the Outside Inside exhibition.
